Managing Editor, Journal of Vascular Surgery: Venous and Lymphatic Disorders
Alexandria Sese graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a BA in English, where she had worked with the UIC Cancer Center and the Institute for Health Research and Policy. She is currently based in the Chicago office of the Society for Vascular Surgery.
As Managing Editor of the Journal of Vascular Surgery: Venous and Lymphatic Disorders, Alexandria manages the JVS-VL production schedule, assists the Editor-in-Chief in planning each issue, and coordinates editor summary videos, press-releases, visual abstracts, and CME exams.
Alexandria first joined the staff of the Journal of Vascular Surgery as an Editorial Assistant in 2013. She was quickly promoted to Assistant Managing Editor after gaining a masterful understanding of the Journals' procedures and policies and providing expert support to our contributors. In 2018 she was promoted to Managing Editor of JVS-VL. Since joining the JVS staff, Alexandria has worked with the JVS Team to manage submissions; assist reviewers and editors throughout the peer-review process; and provide quality customer service to authors.
Alexandria continues to work with the editorial staff and Editors to implement exciting changes and publish high quality manuscripts.
